Your funds are 100% secured as the money saved in a National Bank’s vault. The Kolomoni App also offers world-class internet security (256 bits SSL encryption) to protect your data from fraud. Also, all investments are insured by the NDIC.

How safe is my money?

All investment assets are insured by NDIC on behalf of savers. This makes your money absolutely safe.

What documents do I need to open an account?

How do I save?

To start saving or investing on the Kolomoni app:

  • Visit the website (www.kolomoni.ng) or download the App on Google Play Store or iOS store to create an account.
  • Set your withdrawal account and withdrawal pin.
  • Select from a list of available savings products that suit your needs, enter the saving amount, indicate the saving plan, frequency, and confirm your transaction.
  • Kindly note that the minimum amount you can save is N100 (One hundred Naira).

Can I pause my automatic savings?

Yes. Simply go to your savings plan, click on settings and then change automatic debit to “manual debit”.

What are the available savings plan on Kolomoni?

  • My KoloMoni: This savings plan allows you save for a minimum of 3 months with an interest rate of up to 8% (per annum)
  • My KopaMoni: This is a specialised savings plan for Youth Corps members that allows for an interest rate of up to 9% (per annum)
  • Target Savings: With Target Savings, you can save to achieve your specific goals. For example, Summertime Santorini vacation with bae or buying your dream car or the next iPhone. Dream it, save it!
  • Group Savings: Achieve bigger goals achieve far greater goals by inviting friends, family and colleagues to save with you.

I am interested in investing, what should I know?

You can book your investment via the Kolomoni app or through support@kolomonimfb.com. You also earn up to 15% interest rate per annum depending on the amount and plan. Additional features and benefits of our investment plan include:

  • Top up on already booked investment
  • Request for investment liquidation via the app
  • The minimum tenor is 90 days (3 months) while the maximum tenor is 360 days (1 year)
  • Interests can be paid upfront depending on plan

How do I fund my account?

You can either fund your account by adding your ATM card on the app.

How do I invest in fixed term investment?

  • Go to the investment section of the app, select the fixed deposit option from the drop-down icon.
  • Then provide the necessary details which include the amount you are investing with the maturity date for the investment.
  • Lastly, confirm your transaction. Note, the minimum amount you can fix is #50,000 (Fifty thousand naira).

How do I withdraw my money?

Provide your bank account details, enter the amount you wish to withdraw, provide the secret answer to your secret question when required, and confirm the transaction.

Can I make third-party transfer?

Yes! You can send money to any commercial bank via the app.

Can I withdraw my savings or liquidate my investment before the terminal date?

Withdrawal before terminal date is not encouraged because the Kolomoni app is designed to help you set targets and imbibe a committed saving culture. However, in exceptional cases, you can always call the help contact for such withdrawals. Kindly note that you will be charged for such withdrawals.

If I forget my password, how do I retrieve it?

Launch the KOLOMONI app, input your phone number or email address and click on forgot password. A password reset link will be sent to your email address.

What should I do if my phone got stolen?

KOLOMONI installed on your phone is secure, so your money will be safe. In case you misplace your phone:

  • Install KOLOMONI on another device and log in.
  • Click settings on the dashboard, then change your password
  • Go through your transaction history to be sure it has not been tampered with
  • Notify us if you notice any issues.

What if I don’t have access to another smartphone?

Simple! Kindly put a call through to us stating the phone number linked to the account to avoid intrusion.

With the Kolomoni Agent Banking App you can provide seamless financial services to everyone, everywhere – Cash withdrawal, deposit and fund transfer, airtime recharge and data subscription, utility bill payments and much more.

Can I earn an income from the Kolomoni Agent Banking App?

Definitely. We call it agent banking. To become a Kolomoni agent, you need to request for a Kolomoni MPOS or POS. You will be required to pay an onboarding fee either to us or through one of our certified super agents in order to acquire one Kolomoni MPOS terminal. The Kolomoni app also allows our agents to carry out transactions at an incredibly low rate:

  • Cash Out: This is withdrawal transactions that attract charges of 0.5% capped and N100 on our mPOS devices and 0.7% on our POS devices
  • Transfers: You can transfer from your wallet into any commercial bank account at reduced charges.
  • Airtime/Data Purchase: You can buy airtime on all networks and earn a 2% chargeback as commission.
  • Cable TV Subscription: You can perform cable TV subscriptions and earn N5O chargeback on all amounts.
  • Utility Bill: Electricity bill payments can also be made on the app.

What does it mean to be a Kolomoni Super Agent?

Super Agents are ambassadors of Kolomoni who have multiple agents under their purview and provide them with end-to-end operational support.

How can I become a Kolomoni Super Agent?

To become a Kolomoni Super Agent, you have to acquire a minimum of 10 MPOS (Mobile Point of Sales) or/and POS terminals. You will be required to pay a discount sum for our terminals, this amount include ACTIVATION, ADMINISTRATION AND ONBOARDING.

As a Kolomoni Super Agent, you will be required to onboard agents under you. However, Kolomoni Super Agents must not sell to their agents for any amount more than the stipulated retail. You earn a commission on all cash-out transactions carried out by your agents.
